FRONTIER DAYS FAQ

  • Where can I pre-purchase tickets?
    Tickets can be purchased in advance at:

    • The Swift Current Ag & Ex Office (Palliser Pavilion)

    • Pharmasave Swift Current

    • Online at swiftcurrentex.com

    Online Ticket Pick-Up

    • Before June 19, 2026 at 4:30 pm: Pick up online orders at the Ag & Ex Office (Palliser Pavilion).

    • During Frontier Days (June 24–27, 2026): Pick up pre-purchased tickets at the North Gate during regular fair operating hours.

    Where can I buy tickets during Frontier Days?

    • From 1 pm to 7 pm: Visit the Information Booth near the Grandstand entrance.

    • After 7 pm: Same-day Grandstand entertainment tickets are sold at the Grandstand Entrance for the duration of the performance.

    What is the refund policy?
    All Frontier Days tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

    Weather Policy
    Frontier Days is a rain-or-shine event. Performances or activities may pause or adjust for severe weather, but refunds are not provided unless stated otherwise by the event organizer.

  • Parking & Accessibility

    Frontier Days offers 15 acres of free public parking outside the Kinetic Park gates.

    Parking Locations

    • North Gate – General & accessible parking

    • South Gate – General & accessible parking (closest to Magnus Newland Arena / CCA Rodeo)

    • West Gate – General parking

    Accessibility Notes

    • Accessible seating for the CCA Rodeo is located at the south end of Magnus Newland Arena.

    • If mobility is a concern and the rodeo is your focus, we recommend parking at the South Gate.

    • Accessible Washrooms are located at:

      • The Stockade

      • North Campground (near the Saloon)

      • Doc’s Town Tea House

      • South Campground (near Livestock events)

    • Washrooms in the Palliser Pavilion are not accessible.

  • Your safety is our top priority. Swift Current Ag & Ex works closely with local and national agencies to maintain a secure, family-friendly environment.

    First Aid
    If you require first aid:

    • Locate Security, or

    • Visit the Information Booth near the Grandstand.

    Bag & Entry Screening

    • Backpacks, purses, and bags (non-framed) are permitted but subject to search.

    • Entry to Frontier Days, the Saloon, or the Grandstand may include bag checks and/or pat-down searches.

    • Guests carrying prohibited items will be denied entry without refund.

    Re-Entry
    Guests wishing to re-enter the grounds may be required to show a valid ticket or receive a hand stamp. Re-entry rules may vary depending on event or location.

    Lost & Found
    Lost items can be turned in or retrieved at the Information Booth during operating hours.

    Smoking & Vaping
    Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas. These areas are posted around the grounds. Smoking/vaping is prohibited inside buildings, in livestock areas, and in all queue lines.

  • Prohibited Items

    To maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere, the following items are prohibited (including, but not limited to):

    • Pets (service animals excepted)

    • Alcohol, cannabis, drugs, or illegal substances

    • Weapons or dangerous objects (tools, blades over 2 inches, explosives, martial arts items, etc.)

    • Noise makers, balloons, or disruptive items

    • Signs, flags, or displays that are:

      • Offensive, racist, or discriminatory

      • Political, religious, or commercial

      • Containing inappropriate language

    • Unauthorized advertising or promotional materials

  • All spectators are welcome to enjoy the Livestock and Equine events held at the south end of Kinetic Park. These events are free to watch and offer a great way to learn about agriculture.

    Please remember:

    • Animals have the right of way at all times.

    • Do not touch animals or enter restricted areas unless authorized.

    • Follow all instructions from event staff and exhibitors.

    • Be respectful—loud noises, running, or sudden movements can startle livestock.

    • Children must be supervised at all times, especially near animals, equipment, and midway areas.

    • Wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear.

    • Stay hydrated—water stations and concessions are located throughout the grounds.

    • Follow signage and staff/volunteer directions at all times to ensure a safe and efficient event.
